I've never had a vehicle with adequate lighting in the back and thanks to writeups and info from the site, I decided to do a budget job. I don't see myself buying a basket anytime soon, so I ghetto-rigged.

It's a pretty cheap job but I have yet to see the results in the dark...

Looks good. I would have found a way to mount them on the inside of the bars so that tree branches don't knock them off.

I was considering that, but angling the lights might have been an issue.

Are they on a separate switch or hooked up on the reverse circuit (with a relay of course) ?

I was debating on the switch, but ended up tapping into the trailer harness. Now that I've seen 'em in the dark, I might look into using a switch...they're pretty bright even for 55w lamps. They do throw a crappy beam for bieng labeled floodlights though (can't complain because of the cost).
