Anyone know what size nut is on the outer tie rod? I got the wheel off but don't have the right size socket. I'm guessing 21mm. Is that correct?

Also, I can't get the adjustable nut free and was torching it, spraying it and even swearing at it. Any trick to breaking this sucker free? Maybe a special tool? Also any idea what size this nut is?

Thanks and happy thanksgiving!

Just to help anyone else doing this. I did the swap this morning with the help of some cheater bars, liquid wrench and having the right sockets and open end wrenches.

The tie rod nut is 22mm. The inner tie rod which you need to hold in place to loosen the adjusting nut is 17mm. The adjustment nut is 24mm. It sure helps to have the right tools handy!

The only thing left to do now is get it aligned!

How do you tighten the tie rod end if the stud just spins?
Impact gun is your friend. Or you can use a method of your choice to apply pressure to the tie rod. Once there's pressure that stud wont spin. I personally like to use a jack stand, others use ratchet straps. Be safe.
