Hey guys. An old lady recently opened her door into my X as I drove by. Got the truck fixed but chose to take a check on the wheel damage and fix it myself (cha-ching!). I've bedlined them, and it took a big chunk out of one spoke. It's very deep. What's the best process for fixing this and making it look even again? Do I have to sand all the bedliner down to match the gouge? Sounds like a nightmare...

Sorry if this seems elementary to some. I have no experience with this kind of modding. It's a wonder the wheels looked even after I did it the first time! :)

well, the PROPPER way to fix it would be to sand the bedliner off, and have someone weld aluminum in to fill the gash. But its probably not necessary to do that. What you COULD do is just sand off that spot, fill the gash with some bondo, and then spray some bedliner back over it and call it a day. You may want to get that wheel/tire re-balanced after you do so though just to make sure its not un-balanced.
