Amp depends on the load, limited by the fuse on the circuit.

Are you asking what the mirror draws or how much extra crap you can run off that existing wire?
The mirror draws very little current, less then an amp.

You can run a simple USB convertor, they don't draw enough to worry about.

If you are planning on mounting the converter in the headliner and running the power wire to the camera under the mirror’s wire cover (like I did) the cable on that converter probably will not be long enough. Listing does not state length but it looks to be shorter than a foot.

Garmin Nuvi’s take the same plug/ voltage, you get a lot more options when you search for a hardwire kit for one of those.

I have this one, 6 foot cable for $15.75
