Hi,

I will add a pic later, but for know i need to know exactly how you remove this rear end cap. p/n 85013 drivers side. or number 4 on the bottom pic.

Mine was hit with what apprears to be by some idiot that had a hitch ball on his receiver and backed right into my X and tore a puncture in that plastic.

If you mashed it in whilst offroading, you're not really supposed to replace it.. Kind of an XTERRA badge of honor, on Gen1s anyways.

The step ( #8) has to be removed from the metal step underneath. it kind of snaps out with a little prying, Then the rest of screws are removed and with a little wiggling it comes right off.

youre going to need a phillips head for the screws in the wheel well and a 10mm socket for the screws under the hatch near the bumper. the corner panel is attached to item 6 via 4 prongs. you have to pull up and out to get over the prongs. its snug, but you shouldnt break anything.
