Ok, here is a simple DIY project to have seat covers on-hand when you need them.

I work weekeneds at a horse farm and after mucking out stalls for 4 hours I am a dirty, sweaty mess. I didn't want to buy regular seat covers because I'm not a fan, but I wanted something that would keep horse crap off the seats. While at Ikea this past weekend I picked up a "bath sheet" which is basically a huge bath towel. I installed two grommets near the top edge of the seat and all I have to do to make a wicked cheap/fast seat cover is pull out the headrest, run the headrest posts through the grommets and put it back in the seat. Wham! Instant car seat cover that won't fall down the back of the seat, is washable and only cost $7. I wash the cover when I wash my farm clothes and then roll it up and toss it in the back of the truck for next time.

Sheer brilliance. You may all use this idea after sending me $25. :)
