Radflo... different coil over (and a little cheaper)

3461 Views 13 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  OregonX
Okay guys, i just talked to greg at PRG, and ordered some radflo coil overs. The ones i ordered are different from the ones on his web site. they are totally internal resevoir (not external) and they are priced at $699 + free shiping. he claims that they are 99% as good as the other ones and are now coming with a better spring. He expects them to ship just before thanksgiving. He said almost all of them are spoken for so if any one is interested get on the horn now!! I also talked to him about getting a new set of tapered spacers for my UCA's (see "one UCA question thread" for more info) and he is going to see if he can get those but he claims that Total Chaos are sticklers when it comes to selling individual pieces.

So look in the swap meet section for AC coils and rancho 9000 shocks.

Damn that looks good. more sneak peaks please
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so jealous... I have no words completely speechless.

What was the price on the spindles? CST site didn't have prices.
Does anyone know if spindles for the Xterra are possible or will be made?

What is the total lift that front setup will give?

These are the Titan 2wd 4" lift spindles and they run about $700.
Spindles for 4x4 will require diff drop, i.e. SLR, Calmini and soon [email protected]

adjustable from 5-7"
Just wondering?, wouldn't you need the titan radflo's since
your going that far of travel. The X shocks are for 3 max,
but with your setup your going above that. I would run X radflo's
with coils spacers and diff drop. You could also run titan radflo's with
diff drop. This is for a 4x4 setup, not sure what u r running.
I swear i can never get away from here for more than 30 mins
to check up on the posts!!! :geek:

The Titan Radflo's, DR's, SAW's are all 2.5"dia. (won't fit the X)... There is now a 2.0 radflo for the Titan but it's basically the same as the X but with different valving for the weight of the titan. Both offer 0-3" lift.
I have 2wd so the lift spindle just moves the location of the wheel not the suspension components (control arms, etc).
I'll only run about 1.5-2" of lift on the shocks so i'll retain ride quality and maximize travel. I'll actually cycle about 12-13" of travel... a totally different subject from lift.
This set-up is all about 2wd prerunner function... I'm sorry i keep getting everyone's hopes up for 4x4!

I would run X radflo's with coils spacers and diff drop.
That would be great for the 4x4 guys if there was a diff drop available... well, there is the SLR kit finally!
Hmmm... 3500 is a little rich for me for 5 in. only i can spend
alittle more and do SAS. It is a real nice setup though!
But i can run calimini with radflo and TC UCA for cheaper!

and $699 radflo's suddenly seem doable...the $899 radflo's are just too much $$.
