Quick Question for you guys? I have a New pioneer head unit with Ipod and sirus adapter on its way. should be here Friday. My question is with getting power for the the two adapters. Can i just crimp all three together HU, ipod and sirus together on the incoming power to the HU or will this be to much? Not sure if this is a dumb ques. Ive never done a car audio install, but there are no amps or after market speakers for now. thanks in advance for all help. by the way the new X is awesome. coming from a 2000 X.

the ipod adapter I am getting with my Pioneer head unit does not need power, it's just a cable. Are you getting that one or the the older box version.

I am also doing an install this weekend but mine will inlclude and amp and sub.

As for your question, I have no clue

if you place relays in line with both products you should be fine.

I would hook up the constant +12V and ground as you normally would and then use a relay on the remote (blue/white) wire of the headunit to turn them on.
