Well, it's got the V8 which as was explained to us, "slips right in, no problem", the Titan TC and AT. CALMINI has the truck protected front and back w/ bumpers and their 5" lift gives it a tough stance. There's a Warn XD9000i to get it out of any stucks. Some goodies also found are elect front locker from GKN, electric front sway disconnect, 4 undercarriage mounted video cameras, and a mandrel bent dual exhaust w/ 2 40 series Flowmasters. The wheels are from an '08 Pathy, and are wrapped in 285/70/17 BFG MT rubbers. Interior is nicely fitted with Wet Okoles, and CALMINI fabbed up a cool interior storage rack/shelf which ties into the utili-track channels. Pics don't do it justice really.. All I can say is when it fired up, it made my sticker peck out. They're driving it to MOAB for GONE next week and hopefully, there'll be some good video shot so you can get a feel for what it's like. Enjoy-

Oh snap, yeah. The recovery points are add-ons, welded to the underside. I was also told, CALMINI now produces their front bumpers w/ 2 built in pull points. Good eye.

I saw the bolts, but he said welded. Not a bad idea if you could bolt them on.
Too bad it's too high for factory, don't you think.

Ok...now I am curious...you talked about the engine, TC and tranny...and then a front locker....what about the front Diff, is it out of a titan?

Looks like someone stole my idea of a rear shelf! :)

Not bad. Fitting the v8 as a simple slip in sounds about right since the 08 Pathy's are gonna have it as the engine bay is the same in X. I'd love to see it in Action. I wonder it it's gonna make it to Colorado for the Ronin event.

I really don't recall our contact saying which vehicle the front diff was from, but for some reason, I think it was out of an '08 Pathy, with one of THESE.

Glad You Guys Liked The Truck

Hey -
I'm glad that everyone liked the truck, and enjoyed meeting everyone on Friday. I just thought I would try and clarify a few things on the truck, for those interested:
- The truck has a Magnaflow muffler, with built-in X-pipe (Doesn't much matter, but thought I would clarify that). The work was done locally by Apache Muffler, in Mesa.
- The shackles are something that we took care of here at work. They are welded to steel plates, and then just bolted into place in lieu of the stock tow hooks.
- The RR diff is the stock O/R unit from an 07MY vehicle.

We're still planning to be at GONE in a week and a half, and are looking forward to seeing everyone there. Also, be sure to watch for upcoming issues of Four Wheeler. We got some good photos and coverage during the Easter Jeep Safari, and it should be in the mag one of these months.
