I've been using a Volant CAI on my 07 for the past few years. I'm about to trade my X in on a newer model and wanted to salvage the intake.... I re installed the stock intake yesterday and have been experiencing issues with revs dropping at hot idle and also rising sitting and idling... All the way down to 500 rpms and sometimes up to 1500 rpms... This is after the vehicle has been driven and is plenty warmed up. Anyone have any suggestions what might be going on? The MAF sensor was securely re-installed...

The computer will have to get use to the stock box again. I would suggest unplugging the ground from the battery to reset it, then drive it for a day or two. See how that changes things. If not maybe a little MAF cleaner.
