hey all i kno that this is a shot in the dark, but do any aftermarket companies make a posi rear diff for our Xs. i am just wondering, because i dont have a locker, and my old blazer(95) had a posi standard. was thinking if there is one made, might consider putting it on my mods list. thanks for any input.

Truetrac makes one for titans I believe.

and TXterra37... They used to say that the only stupid questions are the ones you didn't ask, but that was a stupid question lol. You basically just tipped your hand on your automotive noobness.

positraction or limited slip differential. it's an old trademark from the 60's and 70's because 'posi' rolls off the tongue easier.

is the c200 axle a Dana 44? im not sure if it is or not.
The C200 is not a Dana 44, it's a Nissan diff with 200mm ring gear. The other one Nissan uses is the H233B w/ 233mm ring gear which is on the Patrol and I think the previous generation Xterra. I know guys with Nissan Patrols abroad that swear the H233B is better than a D44. Question is why did Nissan change to smaller gears with a stronger engine?
