I recently rotated my tires and while I had my wheels off I decided to make use of some cans of plasti dip I happen to have. So I dipped my wheels and love how they turned out but when I remounted them my lug wrench tore some of the dip from a few lug nut holes despite my best efforts. My question is aside from removing and redipping them (really wanna avoid that) what is the best remedy? My tactic so far has just been to spray more dip over the tear but I'm not sure that will last. Can I just paint over it with flat black krylon? Thanks in advance for any input.

I would tear a garbage bag down the side in half, then cover the caliper and rotors to avoid any over spray issues. Then I would just spray over the lugs and existing plastidip as it binds to itself very well with little to no visible differences. Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes and 2 coats to get back to all black. Good luck with your mod!
