Hey everyone. Just wanted to say hi. I recently got bitten by the truck/SUV bug and decided to start work on building one. so I sold my G35 and went to work.. I really liked Xterras, but wanted the 3rd row seat and a little more towing capacity. so I went with the pathfinder (sorry...). anyway, i'm here because the pathfinder forum (the Nissan path) is great, but not nearly as large or active of a community, so I've been lurking here, and on the frontier and titan forums for ideas, inspiration, etc. I'm also looking for people to do some 4wheeling with. i'm in NJ, and near the PA border, and i'm always interested in working on the trucks, taking them out, etc.. anyway, here are a few pics. my mods (so far) are in my sig

I live up in warren county, so i'm probably a little more than 15 minutes from you. but it would be good to meet up with some people sometime. i'll keep my eye open for sure

the aftermarket world is honestly kind of weak for the pathfinder. unfortunately. it's nothing like it is for jeeps, Xs, or FJs. not a lot of quality bolt on fun at all. i'm probably not going to do a ton more to the pathy for a while. I want to have a little more fun with bedliner, and maybe add some rails and skid plates when I start doing a little more offroading. I'd love a tactical armor rear bumper and tire carrier, but I don't have the coin for it right now.

Yup, good looking R51 ... I've got a fantasy that starts with a low-mile 2wd R51 V8 and about $50k to blow ... and ends up with my dream rig. But I need to start playing the lottery for that to come about ...

Anyway, enough about my soft spot for that gen Pathy. Plans for anything more in your build?

I would have preferred a V8, but there weren't any in my area. there are only 70k miles on it right now, so perhaps i'll add that stillen supercharger somewhere down the line.

in the immediate future, I plan on bedlining the rockers, the bottom portion of the front end, the rear bumper and the roof rack. I just threw in a K+N and plan on doing the airbox mod this weekend. i'll probably get a bully-dog after that. then i'd like to add some armor and some rocky-road supersliders. i'd also like to do a custom rear bumper with swing-away tire carrier. TAG makes one, but they are a bit pricy. perhaps a headlight upgrade in the near future as well. it all depends on the wallet and the wife. lol...
