OK well I got it installed. Decided I really didnt have the money to a dyno run. Maybe later to see what i am getting. However the But dyno works well and I can tell a difference. The gibson sounds good. Cant really hear it in cab. And the FIPK kit is awesome. Dosent have the same growl as the gen 1's but still has a good sound to it.

Do you FEEL any MAJOR differences? Do you think it would be worth spending the money on?
It seems to accelerate a little quicker. I like it I always have at least an intake and exhuast on my vehicles.
my truck seems to accelerate quicker and drive better after just an oil change or even just washing it. i think it's as much a subconcious thing as it is a measurable difference.

That's cool. Welcome to the pioneer's club!
I can use the results.
Someone said they turned the Gibson muffler around backwards, I never heard anything more but 4 wheel parts said it was impossible to do that and would cause engine damage. But someone said they did it to make it sound better. No answer, so I never got the Gibson.

I think the Nissan engineers didn't leave too much "on the table" when it come to getting "extra" HP from bolt-ons - my nismo intake on my Z problay added 1 MPG extra..nice sound tho..exhaust and intake maybe add a few more RW ponies for our X's(but the sound should be nice tho)..and perhaps your MPG will get a slight increase...but I plan on doing the same thing in the future as well...saving up for another Nismo CAI..and hoping for a Nismo exhaust

I had an ultraflow put in and have noticed about
a 2MPG increase.

Before, I was getting low 16s MPG driving VERY conservatively.
Now, getting low 18s driving moderately aggressive. That exhaust
sound makes me want to slam the gas pedal down every time.
Still trying to figure out how some people are getting up to 20MPG.

My Butt-O-Meter
tells me that I lost a very slight bit of low end, off the
line torque. But have gained better response in mid to upper end
power.

Not yet. They make one for the Z though. I'm going to try to convince them to make one for the x. It shouldn't be that hard since they share the same block just different intake and heads is all.
