We here in Albuquerque got over 2 feet of the white stuff! This was the most snow we have seen since 1959 and the Xterra did an outstanding job in the snow with stock tires and boy, did I have fun. :bounce:

we got our first real snow of the year last night, a whopping 3 inches :pale:

Oh well, it's better than nothing. Had the X out, only used 4 wheel drive to get up a driveway with a pretty steep hill, otherwise the X drove like a dream in 2wd all the way there.

I could only dream...

I couldn only dream about a good snowfall here in Memphis. We've had about 6 inches in the last 6 years. I come from Jersey where we get some good snow and I miss it!

Have some good times for me...

Wish I had the X the winter we had this. That winter we had 22 feet of snow!!

That is a lot of snow, use to get that amount up above Lake Tahoe all the time, but Albuquerque is in the middle of a desert, we don't normally get this large amount of snow, maybe 2-4", but we got inbetween 19-30" in two days. So this was a big deal for this area of the country, as the governer had to declared a dissaster area state-wide.

you guys are lucky... in DFW TX we get actual snow accumulation every... oh, every third or fourth year or so. We usually just get ice and sleet, and if we're lucky enough to get some snow flurries it's either not enough to matter or its too warm for it to stick and it melts real fast.

I've never seen more than 1.5" of snow at the same time in my entire life living here.

We received more snow here in Vancouver B.C.. Ou third snowfall of the winter. We don't normally get much at all, mostly rain. Some areas like Cloverdale received up to 50cm in 24 hours.
I love driving in it. The X seems unstoppable, as long as you drive smart!!

...just to test out my theory, I managed to get it stopped in the snow...seems the VDC will stall it out in 6" of wet snow if you let it. Nothing that 4wd couldn't manage, but interesting nonetheless. The VDC is amazing on slippery roads, but a little annoying in the deeper stuff.
