Hey guys,

Just bought an 05 Xterra to replace my rusted out 00 Xterra. I have cherished and loved my 00 Xterra for all these years but its time to let go, its getting pretty rusty. My old X has been trought some rough off roading and even some long highway drives, but It kept on going. So yeah its time to say goodbye to the old X and in with the new guy.

I bought an 05 Xterra SE with 144 000Km on it, carproof checked and everything. No sign of SMOD, and little to no rust, so Im pretty excited :eek:ccasion5:

First off, I have a couple of question. Ive been searching on this forum for a while now and I got pretty much every information I would want. But theres is still some question rolling around in my head.

First, I will be bypassing the oil cooler for now and then maybe adding a aftermarket oil cooler. Is it necessary to put an external oil cooler?

Also, will be lifting the jeep a bit to maybe put some 33''. I wont be hauling anything and my offroading isnt that extreme. I will be however looking to go with an upgraded rear bumper with spare tire rack so what lift would you guy suggest?
Budget isnt an issue, well not a big issue I mean.

Anyway, thanks for the great forum guys, and I will be searching the forums for more info on my questions.

Also, I almost forgot. Theres a guy in Nova scotia selling this kit https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/deluxe-suspension-package-p-5857.html he used it for one year. But I dont understand with only the shocks would lift the jeep 2 inch?
