hey guys,

so same truck as I mentioned in my first post. It's an '06, Off Road model w/o any extras. No airbag pkg, tow pkg, or RF stereo. It is a manual tranny. Milage is 12,434.

So, buying from a dealer, what is a good/fair price for this Xterra?

Thanks!

Tim

Seeing that the dealer didnt pay more than 15,000 for it I would start there...if its near 20 forget it, or ill sell you my 07 for 20 and ill go get a new one again!

Local?
12k is good mileage.
Are they going to give any warranty?
marz is right.20k way too much!
I'd push 17.5 w\ maybe some additional warranty.
i wouldn't go past 18.5 myself.
But,I may not get that truck either!
Good Luck & post pics of her!

Thanks guys. I think it's Certified.

It is local, Denver.

They have it listed at $22,888

Oh and I just checked Nadaguides.com and they have it at $18,100 for trade-in value and $20,875 retail value.

Is that not real accurate do you guys think?

Wow. Anyone know why Blue Book numbers are waaaaay different then Nadaguides.com? Blue Book's trade in is like 15-16k and retail is over 22k!? Opposite of the Nadaguides.com

Confused......

For what it is worth I paid $18,500 for my OR, manual trnasmission, RF stereo, 26,000 miles back in August. Bought it near Baltimore, MD, I thought that was a good deal. I couldn't find anything local so....

I dont think I would be comfortable paying over 20. I know it is an OR but personally, I would stop at 20 max.

Definitely depends on the locality. Here in AZ, particularly up north, 4x4s go for about 5-6K more than the usual listing.

Thanks guys. I see it definitely depends on where you are. I suppose if I got it for 20 something (as nadaguides has it for 20,800) here in Denver then that wouldnt be too bad....
