Been lurking for a few months and just purchased a 2011 PRO-4X on 2-6-14, so figured I'd introduce myself properly. From the Pittsburgh area and been into Nissan's since I purchased my Sentra new back in late 2001. Been looking at Xterra's for some time now and finally bit the bullet when this one was traded in at my work (I work Nissan parts) the Monday before I bought it. Anyways lifted it 2" yesterday with OME LD springs, Nisstec AAL, and Bilstein 5100 shocks with front height adjustment and also put some 1.25" wheels spacers on it. Tires come in tomorrow and pictures will follow.

Quick picture of it stock.

Lifted.

Welcome from another former lurker :)

I'm curious, which 1.25" spacers are you using? And did you have to reduce the length of the stock wheel studs (heard that was an issue with 1.0" spacers and the stock wheels)? Some of the spacers I've seen recommended include these, but most are 1.5":

Haha thats awesome dude...I've actually come across a few old sentra forum guys on here. Its funny to see how some of us have evolved the same way lol. You should really try to make it out to the shocker run this weekend...even if you don't wheel your rig you can ride along with someone....its a great event to attend and it'll be a good way to get your feet wet in the x community.

Haha yeah I was on Jeepforum for a few years and seen a few past sentra owners on there as well. Really wish I could make it to the Shocker run... I'll see if I can swing it.

Thanks for the link. Hub-centric is what I'm looking for too. Never bought auto parts off the bay, hope they're reputable. At least they spec the stud grade.

Please keep us posted on the new tires. Curious if any rubbing will happen with lift.

Went with Goodyear MT/R w/ kevlar 285-75-16 and they do rub at the melt mod location. I haven't done the melt mod and my caster isn't set right due to the rear lower control arm bolts being frozen. Working with my dealership to warranty them need be it. I may also raise the front bilsteins to the second notch. Not sure which way I'm gonna go yet. Pictures soon.

Thanks Jordan... funny story, your X is actually the reason I got mine and the tires I chose. I wanted a white one until I seen this one traded in.
