Hey. Just bought my X today. New to Xs but not Nissan. Upgraded from a 94 pathfinder 4x4.

X is a 2005 S 4x4 I believe. Granite colored with auto trans. 137k miles. Usual dings but overall clean. Had a P0O21 when I got it but changed the oil and it went away. Has a non factory rad in it.

Plastics where faded but used a bottle of mothers back to black and they look almost new. Hopefully it'll last.

Any advice, tips, or tricks are appreciated. I know y'all want pics. I'll try to get some tomorrow.

welcome from CO, I use the back to black everyother wash or so just to keep the plastics fresh. It will fade / or wear off so just plan to do it occasionally. Also look on the forum for the SMOD modifcation you should do to save your Auto trans.

Thanks for the welcomes. Figured if the plastics keep fading I'd bedline em. And I thought if the rad had been replaced it fixed the SMOD issue?

welcome from davie county ...
My guess is if it has a aftermarket rad at some point the OEM blew(the xterras are know for that )
the 1st thing I did to mine as soon as the factory warrenty was out was bypass the tranny cooler section of the radiator and loop the hoses ....if that thing cracks and mixes anti with tranny fluid (strawberry milkshake of death) it will kill the rad. and the tranny

Just a thought ... oh and pull off the mud flaps ...makes it look like you put a lift on the truck with out them
