I'm a member but it is an old account on a closed email address so I had to create another ID, lol.

Thanks, I had a question but it quickly turned out to be two problems at the same time. A crack in the intake and once fixed led to a second problem that turned out to be the ECU. I tried the $90 third party mail in fix and that lasted for a while and then it just stopped comms altogether. Luckily, I live in a small enough town that I knew several people at the Nissan dealer and didn't get pounced on the price. What a difference a non leaking intake and properly running ECU makes. I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, the hole in the intake scared the patched ECU to death. Anyway, the MPG is significantly better now, lol. I estimate I drove this 08 X mostly like this for about 30k miles.
