Finally decided on the light situation... bought the PIAA 2100XT for the front air dam as a driving lamp. works very well..

also bought a pair of the PIAA 510 FOG, and will be installing in the stock fog light location.. the stock housing is 3 4/5", and the piaa w/o the cover is 3 15/16"... ill make it fit...

My lights up top are removable as they plug in and are secured to the roof bin, I have an extra bin and swap em out. They have got to cause some drag and loss of MPG although I don't know to what extent.

So I say that to say, I put Hella Blackmagics on the front and that is all you will really need.

But, you give us two excellent choices and try to make us decide? Let me get a coin out here.......

I got tails twice and heads twice, last flip it rolled into the heater vent.

lol... funny... ive had alot of expierence in the past with Piaa through various fog and driving lights on my sports cars, but i have never used a Hella light......

since i will not be a hardcore offroader.. im not going to get a new bumper or god forsaken brush gaurd... i need something that either tat will fit inthe OEM fog holes or inthe air dam....

for the moment i dont feel like drilling holes or cutting the front bumper to accomadate a 5" - 8" round light.... but i do love the Black Magics......

that may chnge in the future ......

decisions decisions.....

I installed a pair of FF75s in the area you're looking at. if you are going to use them as foggers then you'll want them low. I'm loving the FF75s - it rained like a son of a gun last night and they added quite a bit of light.

You have to poke around a bit, I have seen posts where people put in a bracket for backing in the bumper somehow and that kinda opens up some options for you as far as mounting. I know xterrafield did something like that but he had two posts about it one with a bull bar and one without. He's pretty crafty, so maybe look for his post. MC
