Build Day.

Went to a local DIY garage. first time doing some major work on my xterra. A HUGE thing that helped me was a write up on here and then I made a step by step list. Was by myself and it took me 11 hours to finish.

White Knuckle Sliders Day!

I got these sliders through @Polar Bear. Gave them two coats of paint. First rustoleum black and then truck bed liner spray (awesome). Went back to the local DIY shop for an install.

Man, I dont know how ya did it! taking the manifold off was time consuming but once it was off, the sparks were a piece of cake. there is a fantastic video on youtube to follow.

the hardest part was reaching way far back to the rear bolts.

I watched a guy in a 1st gen frontier take his spark plugs out after sucking water a few weeks ago. Not sure what we would do in that situation... I don't think my tool box will accommodate removing out entire intake in the middle of the woods
In that situation, without doing them before, Id be SOL. But know that Ive done them, all you really need a a socket wrench set with long extenders and a allen wrench.

I'm not sure how a first gen Frontier compares to a first gen Xterra, but if it's the same in the engine compartment it's the same story as our second gen. It's just a matter of the right wobble extensions and arm cramming to get the plugs out without pulling the plenum.

(Edit: 3.3 without supercharger is what I have experience with.)

Its from home depot online. A hitch basket that I took off the middle part and U-Bolted to my bars. I was thinking about lights. Dunno if i want a bar or not. Im open to ideas really. I may need some welding work done for attaching a recovery point to my truck on the passenger side. I messed up and tried to force the bolts into the frame when they didnt fit 100% and they stripped the threads on the frame.... poop

Listened to my awesome retired crazy lady neighbor and used toothpaste to clean the head lights... actually worked!

If what I've read is to be believed you'll want to clear coat with a UV resistant paint asap or those will fog up on you quickly.

If you need a front burger I have my old one you can have. I bought a custom one off a member here. 808 something from hawaii
Sorry for the delay. I took mine off when painting the grill and broke the attachments. Havent really made to much of an effort in replacing it nor will it. Looking into an older Nissan emblem or cutting out and replacing grill.
