Are there any decent trails in Missouri?
There are several private (pay to play) off road parks. Not much in the way of state funded trails. Here is a link to some trails in St. Joe State park: http://mostateparks.com/trails/st-joe-state-park?type=atv

If you are in the STL area check out Lost Creek Road (not to be confused with Lost Creek Trail). Lost Creek Road is a primitive road running between Hwy U and and Hwy 94 in St. Charles County. The tips are gravel but the middle is kind of fun. Depending on the season there can be many water crossings. Actually part of the road is creek bed (Lost Creek).

We take the road when going to wineries in Hermann, MO.

Where are you located in MO?

I had some time to burn so I drove to lost creek road this afternoon. It was a nice little road, mostly gravel with some small rock. The water crossings would have probably been too much for a car but it wasn't terribly hard. It was a nice afternoon drive. Plus, there is a lost creek winery nearby.
