Any one else?
Have a 09, just shy of 60k. Have done breather mod (many moons ago) and added custom used wheels and tires few months ago - From a member, but didn't balance/align.

Now when driving on quiet roads you hear a metallic noise when driving:
-Back of truck possibly
-Checked rear fluid and filled to top
-Not at Idle
-Replaced front discs not too long ago.
-Truck sits mostly, but when used drive very far distances
-Rear disc brakes look great (havent ripped open ebrake drum)
-After 30mph too much road noise to hear.

Only semi-near post:

Thanks :)

Have you checked the rear brake pads?

I was having this weird noise coming from the back a few months ago, was driving me crazy. Couldn't find anything to cause it - except the "replace me soon" indicator/warning thing on the brake pad. Replaced them and the noise stopped right away.

Thanks!!
Wanna say speed over RPM. Will neutral her at 15mph - when wheels back on.

Ps: Extra bonus points for PO455 and PO447 codes :)

I have the EXACT same thing. A rubbing/grinding sound only audible at slow speeds. Wife cannot hear it, but I do. Drives me nuts.

I have read and searched seeing that it is/could be the U-joints. I have 100K Miles (160k km).

Thoughts?

Mine is speed specific not RPM specific, its totally only linked to the truck being in motion, road noise takes over about 50km/h. most audible when coasting to a stop foot off the gas.
