My LED wire jsut snapped off today.. I saw the LEDs were not working.. and as soon as i put my finger on the wire, it just snapped flush to the screw nut holding teh LED in place...snapped as if I had a nail clipper in my hand..
Not sure if they were made for the temps up here.. I tried using some loom plastic to protect them early in the fall..but that wasn't enough when it went below freezing.. Seems like they were just not insulated and protected enough for the climate up here..

Just wondering if anyone has used some other design or set up to replace the lights that Dave sent..
Thanks!

Those are the same LED bolts I'm using with my Hardcore Offroad bumper.
They work great, I've had them for about a year now.
Thanks...I hope they're a little more sturdy..Wire wise than the original...they seem to have that heated strip wrap which I'm assuming is more protective for cold weather...
I was really happy and surprised I found these on amazon..

We get some pretty severe winter weather here, and they've held up so far. I don't open the tire carrier often at -40C but so far they haven't shown any wear.
I think you'll be happy with them!
