I have a 2011 X trim and im installing a map light which it didnt have before. I have cut the hole and the light fits perfectly, But my problem is that i cannot figure out the wiring. Since mine isnt prewired for a map light, Im attempting to tap into the back seat light. However I cannot figure out which wire goes to which connection. The rear light has a 2 prong connector and the ground is through a screw attached to the roof. The front light has 3 prongs and nothing screws into the roof. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

The "interior room lamps" are ground operated. That is they have +12 VDC at all times and the switch in the door (or light assembly) supplies a ground causing the lamps to glow.

For the "front" light:
One of the wires is the inbound (+). (red with yellow stripe)
There are two wires running out for the (-) to control each vanity lamp. (One black and one yellow) One of those two wires run down into the door pins.

For the "second row:
One of the wires is the inbound (+) (red with yellow)
The other is the outbound (-) (black)
