M205 cv axels connect with a flange, they do not slide in and out of the diff like the r180. Are you sure they installed the M205?
The flanged shafts will pop out of an M205.M205 cv axels connect with a flange, they do not slide in and out of the diff like the r180. Are you sure they installed the M205?
I mean they certainly shouldn't come out on their own.I’ve never had one pop out on an m205. The one time I did take the flange out it was a huge pain. Took forever and a lot of cussing!!

But they aren't usually super hard to get out. Some prying or a slide hammer will usually pop them out relatively easily.
No disrespect intended. I’ve just heard so many auto shop horror stories lately and was worried they got one of us. Can never be too careful these days. I’ve been burned bad in the past from dishonest shops.I recently had an off-road shop install an m205, 3 rib, with 4.10s and an electronic locker. As I’m installing the new suspension parts for the Titan swap, I pulled the half shaft out of the diff without much effort. It’s the same on both sides. The shop had mentioned it seemed loose but I didn’t have any oil leaks until I started working on it. I tried replacing the c clip on the driver’s side with a new one that I am sure is the right part and still can pull the shaft out with no tools. Is this something to be worried about or is it okay?
TIA
