I've registered here back in 2008, around the time I bought my 2003 Supercharged 5-Speed Xterra, but having a gen1 truck I never spent any time here so this would be my first post. After almost 14 years I sold my X as a parts truck as the frame was rusting away and I couldn't find a suitable replacement. I wanted to get another to transfer my parts over but thanks to living in Canada where finding a clean one is very difficult, and the prices of them in both Canada and the USA shot up to unresonable levels in 2021. My replacement, not a gen2 Xterra but an R51 Pathfinder with the factory V8 as I found it better suited to my needs and I much prefered the equipment it comes with that the gen2 X doesn't. While an Xterra, those of you will know they share the same chassis and especially the front suspension. The R51 Pathfinder community isn't nearly as large as the (gen2) Xterra so I'll (still) be lurking around to learn in areas that the R51 community lacks, especially in the area of off-roading. While I've been working on maintenance, preventative maintenance, and while-you're-there mods, mods are light at the moment but I'm currently working on TRE E-Lockers front and rear with a 3.36 regear, JBA headers, AirLift bags and a Red-Arc Tow-Pro Elite carried over from my old X. Slowly working on accumulating lift components but still undecided on what to use for springs and shocks. I currently have Z1 UCA next is a SFD from Nisstec.
