These textured black wheels have been getting my attention the past few weeks. My 16" PRO-4X rims are nice but I am looking for a change. I currently have a 2" NISSTEC lift with the MK84 kit. Will be installing the 2" body lift I have on hand from NISSTEC eventually. I also have the 1.5" Spidertrac spacers as well currently installed using my 33" tires. The inside fender well area has already been trimmed on my X with my current setup. I know more trimming may be needed for these rims and different tires since they will no longer fit, although that is not my concern. Thoughts?

I didn’t get any notifications regarding this thread I made. Weird. Regardless, thanks for chiming in to both of you. Just wanted to see other’s opinions. I agree. They do look good. Different as well.

With 2" body lift you should have no problem fitting these wheels on 33's. Given that they are 18mm offset, they will only stick out about 1/2" more than your stocker wheels & spacers do. Go for it! I like the positive offset wheels like these. With my Titan swap, I don't need anything crazy that increases width even more.

Thank you for that feedback!

This wheel style is sharp: the bronze finish looks good too!

What size 33's are you running?

For reference, the factory wheels with 1.5" spacers effectively turn the wheel dimensions to 7-inches wide with -8mm offset so the 17x8.5 ET+18 DH will sit about 1/4" further inwards.
If I had a black Xterra, I would be running the bronze rims. Since I have a Silver X, I will be going with the black rims. I am currently running 285/75/R16's with stock PRO-4X rims. I am wanting to upgrade to either 17 or 18's. More likely 18.

The black finish will look excellent on silver!

AS for the tires, 285/65R-18's should work well if you decide to go 18-inch (y)

Finally purchased these tires via Discount Tires along with new Tires to fit the 18's. Thanks to Matt and his team online for assisting me with this purchase. The look and feel of the ride are all good! These Dirty Harry 18" rims were installed on 285/65/R18 Patagonia M/T Milestars. I am very impressed with these tires. Seems quieter compared to my Thunderer Trac Grip M/T tires. Pics below....

Those are good looking rims. I like the circle cutouts vs spokes for trucks. I have the 265 75 16 Falken Wildpeak I just bought, so I'd stick with 16" myself if I did it. Edit: I see it doesn't come in 16" so nevermind.

I agree with the circle cutouts compared to spokes for trucks. I wanted something different than what everyone else has and this was it. Yet looks great too IMO. Thanks.

I’ve been eyeing these rims myself! I have a Black Xterra though so I’m definitely interested in the bronze ones! Currently have a completely stock setup. Looking at getting them in 17in rims just trying to figure out what I need to do first to make them work.

Agreed - definitely a sharp wheel! As long as don't aggressive with the tire size, the 17x8.5 ET+18 fits.

PM coming your way.

You will not be disappointed! If had a black or blue Xterra, I would be choosing the Bronze rims myself. These rims are MUCH wider than the stock rims. Meaning you will have bigger tires which of course will rub on your inner fenders. Melt mod is needed but you may need to trim some of the fender as well. I had to do this and of course I have a 4" lift. They no longer rub, but look great!

I'm also looking at getting these with the satin grey and black lip. My X is white so i think it will look good.

I am debating whether to upsize my tires to 35's or stay with 33's. My gut says go for the 35 but my wallet says no. Do i have to re-gear or can i make it work with a lighter 35?

Also, is a 8.5 wide wheel big enough for 35's? maybe a skinnier 35?

35's will certainly fit on an 8/5-inch wide wheel, but the +18mm offset may be too high depending on how wide you go with the tire.

Most people running 35's on there X do suggest new gears.. .
