Right on. Same neighborhood as Engineer, for sure. I grew up driving those trails, glad you had the opportunity to get out there!

Thanks! The ride is definitely as stiff as a pubescent boy at the beach, but once I get the winch installed I am sure it'll soften up the front. Went full HD because when I go into the backcountry, I'll carry up to 20gal of water and 10 of fuel. The weight really adds up!

you were running the 285/75/16 tires at the stock ride height correct? Do you plan on going bigger on the tires now that you have the OME? Also what size OME did you install? Great looking rig.

Alright did some serious work yesterday mounting up the RockyMtnX Sliders and installing the winch mount. Difficulty wise, I think the sliders took about an hour and the winch took much longer mainly due to having inadequate tools to drill out the holes on the mount shims. Otherwise, we tested it last night and it all looks well.

Drilling out the one hole for the sliders

Here's how they look (friggen great!)

Testing out the 3m grip tape I put on the sliders

Taking the front off took a mere 15 minutes:

Winch mounted (I weather sealed the solenoid and put in on the rails...it clears perfects)

All buttoned up: so I put the connector drilled into the bumper--this way it's easy to access either from outside or bringing it into the window

Here she is:
