Well a few things have happened since my last update. I've ordered a Hardcore Offroad Full guard front bumper due to be finished in 2 weeks and got a Smittybilt X20 10k synthetic winch ready to put in it.. Got my Shrock sliders installed, made a RAM mount for my iPad for navigation, ordered a Hefty aluminum transmission skid and got a Midland 822 CB mounted in the cab (got an external setup coming in tomorrow to finish it).

What do you think of these lights? Youve had them in for a few months now. Any flickering? Good quality? I see them on Amazon for $14.99. I've been wanting to upgrade mine for a couple years. I originally had my eyes on a pair from DiodeDynamics, their most powerful 921 bulbs. But couldn't get myself to drop $90 on them.

Held up fine so far and I still love them. Nice and bright. At their price you can't go wrong imo. I like you also considered the DD ones but likewise couldn't justify the $$ on a couple leds.

Sweet looking X
Thank you.

What did you use to paint the plastic bumpers, and how is it holding up? Looks great!
I used a green brilo pad to rough up the plastic and cleaned them with rubbing alcohol then sprayed 3 coatings of Adhesion Promotor followed by 3 coatings of Rustoleum Trim and Bumper Paint in Matte Black. On the side trim, grille and door handles I instead used Rustoleum Acrylic Enamel Auto Semi-gloss black which from my experience isn't really that much more glossy but is a deeper color black than the T&B. Either is fine.

The steel portion of the rear bumper I sanded down, cleaned with rubbing alcohol then used 3 coats of Rustoleum Self-Etching Primer followed by 3 coats of Rustoleum Acrylic Enable Semi-Gloss. The step that attaches to the bumper I bedlined instead of paint.

What I have left on here has been fine so far except for the scratches that happen due to tree limbs scraping me while I wheel. Prep work is king.

Sweet looking X! I'm not sure how I haven't saw your build page until now but I see I'm finally within 2 hours-ish of someone with a modified Xterra!
Right on lol. It's been lonely here in SWVA  Thanks.

Few updates planned come warm weather too:

M205swap in with Pathfinder axles unless I get some big change to go full Titan swap lol
Maxterra rear bumper w/ Jerry can holder ordered ETA around March
Gonna be cutting my fenders to open them up for wheel spacers until the full swap happens.
I'm be sanding/por15/Raptorlining around the fenders and side that falls in line with the rear plastic panel. Similar to how Chris did his.

You gonna make it black or what? I think you should do another color. Even just a subtle charcoal to match darker gray plastics.

(Awful photoshop, I know haha)

Well my plastics aren't gray anymore  so I was thinking black.

Edit: I suppose my stock roof rack is still grayish but hopefully that's coming off this year as well.

If I had a second vehicle to keep the X down for a week or so I would take everything off, sand it and then Raptor Line it in tan with the side trim piece and below being black Raptor.

Similar to how this 4Runner was done. I like that effect quite a bit. I'm not really a fan of black that's the only part I dislike about my rig.

Well I ended up getting some new lights. KC Daylighter LED's. These definitely punch out further than my Auxbeam lightbar. Gonna head out at night and adjust them later. Along with them I relocated my winch control to the center of the bumper. Now it finally looks right lol.
