I was thinking about getting some factory step rails for my S. Are these tough to put on or pretty straight forward?

Cheers...

6 nuts on each side and you are done. The bolts are actually part of the back side of the rocker panel (they do not bolt to the frame).

Be sure you get them for a good price, other wise it's more cost effective to buy a set of Shrock rock sliders which work as steps and give you rocker protection.

I put them on last summer. They havn't even been on for a year yet. Great shape. i can email you a pic of them on my x. just give me your email. I'd take $100 plus shipping. I paid $199 from Nissan courtesy parts, now they're going for $169. I imagine shipping would be $30+, but I'd have to get back to ya on that.

Buy sliders and add some grip tape. That way you have steps and protection.
