Intake manifold spacer's, you have to put new gaskets into it...it is a pain in the ass.

I assume they are just paper gaskets?

You can't put them over some bolts to line them up? How about a thin piece of masking tape to hold it in place?

I have never installed a manifold spacer, so I'll be honest, I am not sure, but I can't say I have ever had problems installing gaskets. That includes everything from oil pan, head, water pump, valve covers, etc.

If I remember the spacer has some seated, round rubber gaskets that fit around the ports.

No real idea how to get them in though.

I dipped a finger in oil, then kinda rubbed the oil all over them. Then push them in, they will seat all the way down.

i used a small flathead to push them in. the most difficult part was the section that is shaped like a v. that part of the gasket didn't seem to just stay in.
