Hey All - I was wondering if they make pre-cut tint for the 2 front windows of the X. I am looking for a product that is held on without and liquid spray or glue. I am looking for tint that is held on i guess statically that I can be able to put on and take off whenever I have to. I guess it would be something like those murals people have on the back of their pickup's window - like that but regular tint. Here in NJ they are getting really strict about tinted windows. Any info would be great - thanks.

it wouldn't be hard to do, but you most likely couldn't roll them down.

I think eBay sells precut tint.

EDIT: didn't read it all the way through. I don't think they sell removable tint.

its gona look crappy with just static cling, its hard enough to get bubble free with the lubricant/glue and a squeegee

There is such a thing as static cling window tint and it can be found at WalMart in the usual darkness levels. You'll have to cut the tint long enough to tuck down into the door w/ a credit card for example. I would use a squirt bottle w/ water and alcohol so set the film before pressing the film down to get bubbles out. A hair dryer would help in evaporating the water/alcohol mixture for you.

Static cling tint is thicker than conventional tint making it hard to work w/ and cut but it should work for your purposes.

Problem solved! No tint needed everything is now dark!
