How are you taking a hit? If you ask a dealer now, the price is still the same. They're still $180 apiece. Besides, why should *I* take the hit if I'm selling everything at cost?S_e_X-Terra said:I know you had to buy new headlights from the dealer but it seems like i should not be taking the hit for that!! So... Catalyst they are all yours... IF HE DOESNT COME OFF THE PRICE $350
Sorry. I didn't do the work so I don't know how the installer removed the back reflector plate. I know he had to heat up the lamp to separate the lens from the rest of the housing and yes there is a rubber gasket.matrix12480 said:wow! they look great! too bad you cant keep them. do you know how th remove the back reflector plate and if there is gaskets to keep moisture out?
dragonplayboy said:the headlights are easy to pull apart, I had them apart and painted black inside of an hour. you can get a good HID kit on ebay for 150-175 and I don't know about the projectors. the brunt of the work (and therefore cost) is as mentioned in aligning and mounting the projectors, those things are a bitch to line up properly and seal. Did we ever determine if that second picture had the chrome cracked off?
yeah i just wanted to paint the inside housing black.dragonplayboy said:the headlights are easy to pull apart, I had them apart and painted black inside of an hour. you can get a good HID kit on ebay for 150-175 and I don't know about the projectors. the brunt of the work (and therefore cost) is as mentioned in aligning and mounting the projectors, those things are a bitch to line up properly and seal.
