I Purchased my xterra in North Carolina while meeting my son home from Iraq at Camp Lejeune. The wife loved the huge tires and sweet look so we took it home.
Almost 2 years later we would be going to Camp Lejeune for my son's home coming from Afghanistan when a Huge Deer jumped out on 95 south bound at 4 am. Now am not a hunter, but I did kill him, at the expense of $5500.00 in damages. BUT, should we have been in the 2003 Chevy mini van, things might have gone terribly wrong.
My beef with Allstate Insurance making me pay air fare to Virginia to pick up my xterra was a different problem, but Allstate is no more.
Happy for all you xterra riders, so stay Happy

Welcome from Montreal. That must have been a stressful moment in your lives. Glad that you and the missus came out of this unscathed.
We should post a who is 55 and over thread amongst our members.
