Cause he probably doesn't need it on the Island :)

Hell, I don't even know if my heater works on mine yet Didn't think to test it, just made sure the A/C was blasting cold!

Locate the heater core hoses where they go through the firewall, somewhere above the right hand cylinder head, disconnect them from the firewall and connect them together.

I've put a copy of the heating and cooling section of the 2009 workshop manual in my dropbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49294942/32-mtc.pdf right click and save as.
thanks Mike, im just trying to get rid of unnecesary heat in the cabin, it getts really hot down here, and im at sea level in the caribean, highest point im ever getting in my x is like 300ft above sea level.
