So, Im researching different headlight assemblies, and found these black bezeled tinted ones that look IDENTICAL to the ones I have in my 2011 Pro-4X...however in the description it says this...

Correct for S or X Models only
  • Not correct for SE, SV, Offroad, or Pro-4X Models

How is this possible????? I looked at the wiring harness and mounting points and they are the same!.... it says for 2005-2015 further in the description

hi.i wish i would've seen this thread a few days ago.i jumped on an older thread about headlight upgrades.i got the specdtuning or protuning whatever they call themselves...i just installed the hid ones with 6000 heat range...the fit and finish looks great, the halos are a bit dim and the projector that is working is very white and brite and aimed good right out of the box...the other projector goes out after about 30 seconds...the company told me to switch ballasts or reverse polarity(whatever that means) to troubleshoot...i have 2 2nd gen xterras one a 15pro4 other a 06.the 06 is the girls truck and we decided those looked good after blacking out the rest of the truck...some say they look gettho but i think they look great so far..anyone else have any experience with these lights?...i spoke with a guy on another thread that is in the install process as i am...so im open to any opinions, advice,or success stories with these lights... thanks bill

I wouldn't suggest buying pre-made xenon assemblies as they crack very easy from temperature flux. Best route would be oem assembly and take it to a professional lighting shop to build out to your specifications. They can also adjust your light once installed on you vehicle so it doesn't blind ppl, which is a gamble on pre-made ones. Plates are inactive
