On mine when I connect the ipod and try to use the steering wheel to change tracks it switches the input from ipod to radio. I am wondering if the dealer just installed wrong...

To change tracks, lift the switch on the bottom left and hold until you hear a chirp. If you just flick it, it will change inputs. Lift and hold. You can also change tracks with the radio controls: the knob on the right (tuner) can change tracks one click at a time or several with a few degrees turn. Switch on the left can move tracks forward or back, but I have not been able to fast forward/reverse to a different point on the same track. Hope this helps.
