Has NissTec Gone Out of Business?

I'm not sure whether they shut down their site or is just doing maintenance, but this is what you see when you go to www.nissteclifts-com.3dcartstores.com.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they closed up shop after hearing about all the negative experiences.

The more I hear about companies closing up, the more I consider going to the dark side... that 2024 Tacoma is intriguing...

"3dcartstores.com is a company that operates in the Printing industry. It employs 1-5 people and has $0M-$1M of revenue. The company is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan."
That was always the "main domain" and "nissteclifts" was a subdomain

So something happened today, a redirect, could be hosting transfer but more likely website removal by owner.
They had the website for 12 years, still registered name for 2 more years, but today, a change

I think the 2025 4Runner is more intriguing, but not enough info.
Sit in the Tacoma first, is what people say. Demos always look great.

Well that would be unfortunate - but not surprising. The combination of supply chain issues, inflation, and lack of employable people is killing off a lot of formerly good small businesses.

Lets hope its just a www glitch.

3dcartstores.com is a web site with subdomains containing individual stores - it enables each individual store to have a shopping cart for check out. It is an old (like really old) way to implement e-commerce sites. See it as if it is a wrapper - a services provider.

The site may be (hopefully) offline for maintenance, update/upgrade of the CMS, or some other reason.

No idea why they don't implement a PayPal cart solution or some other form of shopping cart/e-commerce.

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me. Several others and myself were forced to do charge-backs after being left in the dark. At first there seemed to be supply chain issues, then staffing issues, now this. It took me at least 20 weeks to get my MKIIs that were originally 4-8 week lead time. There's no excuse for their actions but it's definitely sad to see another one of the big ones go. I could go on and on about them but I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, especially if it's literally dead now.
Also, I just noticed Nisstec's www.xterraperformance.com website is still up although my www.nissteclifts-com.3dcartstores.com account isn't working on there. Not sure if they were ever linked account wise as I always used their main website.

That's funny, I was right at about 20 weeks of waiting for my MKIIs as well and was initially told the same 4-8 week lead time.

Yup. I feel that. Even after being lied to multiple times and strung along I think we lucked out that's for sure. Assuming you were on one of their last runs of the MKIIs as well? I told them they needed to change their lead times and then a week or two later it said 8-10 weeks... LOL.

I placed my order on 8/22/22 and received it 1/12/23. Not completely certain, but I think we were definitely some of the last few that received them since most others were already steering clear from Nisstec at that point.

Yeah 100%. Mine was placed on 9/1/22. I got mine toward the end of that same month.
Last week I finally filed a chargeback on a set of shock skids I ordered back in January after being told it may take a bit to get coated. Somehow got my order of lift shackles in between but still no reply on the skids.

If anyone knows any other manufacturer of rear shock skids I'm all ears.

Same here! I ordered a set of their shackles while waiting for my MKII order and the shackles came super quick.

Our shackles were probably sitting on the shelf when we ordered them. I'm wondering if they got money locked on top of their staffing issues and were having trouble fulfilling orders because of it?

The fact that they were short staffed for so long last fall was not a promising sign. Looks like they never recovered. RIP
Well looks like @roXterra is gonna have to start making nisstec kits lol
I just called the actual store and they are still rocking and rolling.

The website is down due to some computer server problems and they are working to get it back up. They were very friendly about the inquiry as well, and even asked where I heard the news that they may have shut down.

I was on their site in last few days and it worked but not now.

they swapped to 3dcart a year or two ago. I noticed a difference when I ordered from them.

hope they pull thru.

Website is back online. I just checked the SPC Titan UCAs and the page now opens correctly - SPC-25560-SPC Titan Upper Control Arms ('04-'15 & '17+)
