Hi all, I have just got our X back after I was rearended badly back in December. We had just bought the X brand new in Nov. Anyway the insurance company refused to total it, and they had to put a whole new frame on it, and pull the unibody. We we're very sceptical of this , and doubted that it would be the same. But much to our surprise, its as good as new! No squeaks, rattles, and it stays true to the road. Its such a pleasure to drive it again. We had a Nissan body shop do the repairs. Just thought I would pass on this information.

Wow 3+ months without your X. That sucks. I would not be skeptical. I know people that had the frame replaced and never had a problem after 100K.
