I know it is early, but those of us on the East Coast that might want to attend need to start planning now.

Who all has a desire to attend?

Personally I am trying to convince the wife to do a 2.5 week trip out west at the end of May next year. Included would be 3 days at GoneMoab. My only concern is my son will only be ~16 months.

Oh man, I would LOVE to go. But its the week after I graduate from college, hmm... hopefully I'll have a teaching job all lined up by then, and that wont start until august, so it may be a possibility. Maybe the cost to finance the trip could be my graduation present.

I am planning a Moab trip for next fall. As much as I think GONE would would be cool, I want to go out with a smaller group of people and do more than just wheel. I doubt I could swing two trips out in one year.

RMXC plans a trip to Moab every fall (Around Thanksgiving time) just for that reason. You should try to hook up with us :)

That's just about the time I was thinking. I was thinking mid Nov. I'll have to hope over to RMXC.

So who is all going to gonemoab2007? Ron & I registered (#32) YIPPEE! I have picked out my lift for the X, and it will be bought at the end of this month, and I have my sliders, front & rear bumpers and skid plates. I HAVE to have the lift to have any suspension travel at all.

Hope to see all of you soon!

WOW. Hard to believe so few here interested in one of the greatest things you can do on this planet in your XTERRA, with other NISSAN owners, in one of (if not THE) coolest places. I know a lot of you here despise the XOC, and maybe you think this is an XOC event, but it's not. You're really cheating yourselves, and the NISSAN/XTERRA community by not trying to attend an event like this.. I have no vested interest in this, I just like to meet good drivers and have the camraderie.

My problem is it's so far away that if I drive that distance, I am going to want to do more than just wheel. But seeing as I have 4 weeks vacation, maybe. :)

I am going and hope to finally meet some of you there! The wife and I are going to be spending time on the North Rim of the GC, Zion, Bryce, etc. before we get to Moab (we LOVE long road trips). I am not going to be able to do too much wheeling while there due to the X won't have any armor, but will certainly enjoy what I can and meeting and watching others thrash their vehicles. Until my wife finishes her PhD, money for mods is at a premium right now.

We are looking at going to Moab as a family. If the dates work out to make it for GoneMoab we may be there then. Are we allowed to bring a couple of non-Xterras? They would be a lifted Jeep TJ and a Lifted 4Runner.
