Hey all, got some good news to share with all of you. Was in the other day at my local Americas Tire Company getting a tire rotation and i asked the sales rep if there are any new wheels out for the new X's and he showed me the MB 72's. Im like sure, here goes another promising wheel that wont fit. I asked him to try it out and low and behold, IT FITS! It was the right bolt pattern and it even cleared the infamous brake caliper by about a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. Immediately i say sold!! Here are some of the specs for the wheel.

MB motoring 72 16x8.5 12mm BS 6x4.5

They fit like a glove and make on road handling much better due to the 1 1/2 of extra width. They also give my X a more aggressive stance. I wanted them to stick out more and have more of a deep dish look but who am i to complain. Wheels for our rigs dont come easy. Oh Yeah, these are a bit lighter than out stocks believe it or not. Enough yapping, here are the pics to prove it. Ill get better ones tomorrow in broad daylight. OH i forgot to mention, these things will not stay polished for long...BLACK POWDERCOATING HERE I COME!!!!

These look very similar to the american racing mojave except now no spacer is required to make them fit. Hope you all enjoy and sorry if these are old news.

They sell these in black!

I know this is an odd first post, actually although I haven't got the Xterra yet (I'm waiting to finish off my payments on my current vehicle in about 10 months), but I have been taking a look at this forum for a little while. But because everyone is looking for a black wheel that fits (including me when I get mine), I was too excited not to post.

According to MB (http://www.wheelsbymbmotoring.com/product.php?wheel=72), They now have this in black! The only thing is that they don't list the size you listed. Is the size you listed correct? Or is there some conversion that I am missing?

I wouldn't put it past MB to discontinue the correct size for the X. They did it with the Predator (I think that was the name) wheels.

I dont think anybody is going to have a pic of these in black... this guy was the first to discover that these even fit. And Trust me we would know if anyone had some on their X.

anyway why dont you go to your local wheel shop and have them try one on and see if they work!!!

3100, can you verify the EXACT size of the wheel, I'll pop an email to MB and see if they sell them in our size still.

By the way your wheels look AWSOME! One of the best set of wheels I have ever seen for the X!

MB has these wheels in 17 but i got them in 16x8.5. 12mm offset and of course 6x4.5. Go to americas tire company and ask about the size for out truck and they should be able to find it. For further piece of mind, ask them to test fit it and it will clear the brake caliper granted its the right one. Good luck.

I think you are right with that. This is the answer I got from MB:

Greetings from MB MOTORING wheels.

We appreciate your interest in our products. Unfortunately the person
that you've referred to is mistaken. We do not make the MB72 in a 16x8.5 6-114.3 for the Xterra. The 16s will not clear the caliper. He has to have our 17x8.5 6-114.3 MB 72s on his vehicle.
