Is it just like a simple trim on the corners? As long as I dont have to mess with the curves it doesnt sound so bad. I wonder if that is for both the front and back?

I really don't know from 1st hand experience. That's just what I've heard. Go to a Pep Boys or other automotive store. They sell a few "universal" fit flares... obviously they'd require a bit of manipulation.

Lol, I was hoping you'd be the guinea pig on this one. I can't exactly say I've got a need for flares though, but it'd be nice to know.

I'm with MCampana on this. Our Xs seem to have a pretty wide stance as it is .
Why Flares ?

I think our fenders are more than wide enough. I wouldn want to catch the flares on any trees.
Might look wierd too.

Some people like Sexterra or DRap have had modifications made to their truck that have caused their tires to extend past the original fender. Flares would be a cheap alternative to get some protection of sorts for those tires versus Henemenamenamenam (sp) fenders that cost buku (sp) dollars.
