Here are a few photos from Saturday 11/25 trip to Fish Creek & Sandstone Canyon in Anza Borrego Desest State Park, California. We had 6 Xterra's and a Land Cruiser; it was "take your out of town relatives to the desert day". For those that have not been there, this trail is about 28 miles round trip, in and out the same way. Mostly sandy wash driving, with a few small rocky areas in places. Definitely stock friendly, even OK for 2WD if you know how to drive in sand.

Xterra parked in front of the "anticline" at Split Mountain.

Heading up Fish Creek Wash.

Lunch was good, followed by fresth apple pie from Julian Pie Company.

In to Sandstone Canyon.

They are working on it, has been down for a while now. For now we are using the Southern Calif Club Xterra section of XOC, under the Regional Clubs area.

I'll try to post upcoming runs somewhere on thenewx, if that's OK (as I know many here don't use XOC). I'm getting the feeling that there are many here who don't know about SCCX.

Well, I'm north of northern Cali (i.e. In BC, in Canada), so why would I need to know about it? ;-)

Then again, other than before I bought my X (when I was doing some research, but hadn't joined any site yet), and the occasional Google search, I never go to XOC.

Happy here at thenex.org, and expect to be happy in the new year as well :)
Yes, please post SCCX stuff here as much as you can. It's a pain to sort through posts on XOC. I'm looking forward to wheelin with you guys. Who was the girl in the yellow X?
I second Syndicate's request on posting here, being a local in SD I look forward to meeting you guys/gals and driving out with you. (Plus Syndicate)
