After waiting nearly 21 weeks for my Nisstec MKII 3" extended travel kit, the coilovers FINALLY came in. Was told that the rear shocks will take at least a few more weeks....

Once I got the MKIIs in, I immediately got to work on taking out my Fox 2.0s. Here's a side-by-side comparison:

Took a bit of finagling (had to separate outer tie rods and upper control arms from the knuckle), but was able to finish in a few hours. Here's how they look after installation:

I must say, the front rides smooth as butter now. Not sure if it's the valving or the beefier 600# springs (from 400# on the Fox 2.0s) to account for my armor, but I'm loving the ride so far. After driving around for a little, I probably could've even gone for 650# or even 700# springs. Will update this post once I get the extended travel rear shocks in.

When did you order them? I ordered mine on 9/1/22 and was told by Micheal via phone that mine were the next to go out. That phone call was the beginning of December. I still have yet to receive mine. I talked to someone else who ordered after me and they said Nisstec told them the same thing. Pretty sad they resort to lying to their customers like this.

I ordered mine on 8/22/22 and called them every other week for order updates after passing the quoted 8 week wait. I was told by Michael that they received a shipment of coilovers from their supplier last Wednesday (January 4th) and my order was shipped the following Tuesday (January 10th). I'm not sure whether yours were in this shipment, but I would call them again to confirm.

I’m not in the business, but it’s sort of pathetic that they can’t just tell you “I don’t know”.
In The business I’m in, much respect is given for being straight up with another grown man. But that’s face to face.
phone and internet is pretty hilarious in that lying seems to be the go-to format.

What about 'I don't know' isn't open and honest? My employer has a team that they've put together at each engineering group to work to source alternate parts to keep our product going down the assy line in these crazy times. Supply chain disruptions are real. We are a fortune 500 company with a worldwide presence that can source parts from many directions. I doubt we've ever told someone 'I don't know'.....and I'd rather here that than a corp script.

Uh, that’s exactly my point.
I’d like to hear an “I don’t know, but based on my experience I’d guess 6 months”
Rather than being led on and lied to.
I’m not sure you understood my post. But either way we agree

Nisstec has 100% without a doubt been lying to people as they haven't been able to keep up with the volume of MKII orders they currently have. I spoke with Micheal again yesterday about my MKII order. He said I'd most likely have a tracking number by today. Still nothing. He was telling everyone on this order run of MKIIs that theirs will be the first to go out when they get them in. He even admitted that on the phone yesterday. I was told this multiple times prior to this call too. I confirmed he told the same BS to two others that ordered MKIIs as well. Low and behold I see this post and still don't even have a tracking number. Today, I just got notified that someone else I've been talking to just received their MKIIs and they ordered theirs about a month and a half after I ordered mine. Seriously Nisstec?! My order is still stuck in the "processing" status as of today. The only thing in my order is those coilovers, nothing else. Micheal said he's the one adjusting, packing, and shipping out all the MKII orders by himself. He also told me that he's going down the list of orders as they came in and that I had 3 people in front of me. How is it that people who ordered after me already got theirs if Micheal is actually going down the list in order? He kept telling me how he trying to get them out to people as fast as he can and I could tell he's been working hard for sure. I respect that hard work and have no issue with waiting. I understand things happen but what I don't respect is being lied to or given the run around which is all I've got throughout this whole order. I've given Nisstec the benefit of the doubt, including plenty of feedback. I want to support them and I keep trying to but I just cannot any longer. Micheal personally doesn't seem too receptive to my concerns as I've brought them up multiple times. He seems more concerned with letting the customers know how hard it's been for him and them as a company instead of taking any feedback to heart. It seems like our concerns just go in one ear and out the other with him.

I really hope Nisstec ups their game and corrects these issues. Can't say I'll be ordering from them again to find out though.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I get the world supply chain is f’d up from the plandemic, but
Just a straight up answer from them would be nice and respectable. This kind of garbage makes me not want to bother with them in the future.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. I hate seeing them go down this path. I think I got some straight answers although who knows at this point. I know I'll get the MKIIs soon, I'm not stressing on that at all. People just need to be aware of what's been going on with them.

Due to these stories I am doing the Tundra struts for my Titan swap for now with plans to go MKII's after the supply chain smooths out. I have never had anything but good luck with Nisstec...but I'm sympathetic to the issue of supply issues.

I'll buy from them still...but on this I'll let things settle for a month> Want to get a set before they cancel the offering when demand dries up.

How do you get 'experience' if you've never experienced this before? Big companies(Elco is it?) can work through it. Big companies tell small companies(Nisstec) what they think and those companies pass on the info. After a while, you realize that the big company doesn't know either and you simply have no point of reference of believeable info after so many different stories. So all you can do is 'I don't know'.

I'm just glad deliveries have started again. I'll continue to hold my order until the slug of orders subsides. I had heard initially they were being shipped immediately.

I’m still in the camp of, this is not a transitory situation. This is a permanent one that continues to get worse as the days go by. Not just talking car parts.
So, if you want something, get on the list now. Might not be able to buy that thing in the near future.
That’s what I see though. I see a lot of people telling themselves this whole manufactured charade is temporary.
My opinion of course and that’s all it is. Hope I’m wrong

Yeah I don't see too much good looming on the horizon honestly. I won't be surprised if we can't buy anything soon.

That aside, I think Nisstec is going to keep digging themselves a deeper hole. I still have no tracking number so Micheal's whole me being 3rd in line to ship out must have been more BS from him to keep me "happy". How long can it possibly take to adjust, pack, and ship out 3 sets of coilovers? I swear he alone is going to be the reason I will never buy from them again. It's really sad honestly. It's not even a hard thing to correct. Having my own businesses and having worked quite a few customer service positions it still blows my mind that this is still happening at Nisstec.

I definitely understand that. I’ve turned away from businesses for similar actions. Being lied to and led on is absolutely a reason to never shop somewhere again.
I hope your parts get to you sooner than later. And thanks for sharing because I was leaning toward nisstec’s, but I’d rather not deal with that sort of customer disservice
