Yesterday I ordered the 05-07 fog light kit from yournissanparts.com
for my 06 S. After trying to decide between aftermarket lights and factory, I chose to go this way, as there doesn't seem to be a real simple way to mount up lights. Taking into consideration cost and time necessary for fabrication and installation. I checked and I am pre-wired. I have the installation post instructions, but was wondering if anyone had any new advice or helpful hints on the install process.

This is one of the easiest mods you can do. Mine took no time at all to complete using the instructions from here. I don't think you'll have a problem.

Is the $249.99 a good price for the fog light kits?? I saw on another site $149.99 for the kit, but I'm not sure its factory. I want to think its a good price, can anyone chime in. Thanks.

install complete, I hope

I installed the factory fog lights this weekend, first, great service from Turnersville Nissan, very quick delivery, and all the right parts.
Installing the new stalk was easier than I expected thanks to the how-to instructions. I do have a question about the fog light housing. There are 3 contact points on each light. green clip, bolt holder, and a tab or notch that secures the light.
On my install the bolt holder sits on the outside of the mounting tab and the threaded nub of the holder sits in the hole of that tab, then the bolts tightens thru it all. I hope this is correct, it seemed like the only way all 3 points would line up. I had the lights on and off a few times cause I could wiggle the light housing with my hands. As long as I have the bolt holder on right, I did solve the wiggle problem, and I am happy with how solid they are now. Can anyone who has done this confirm I have the bolt holder on correctly.

By the way, I am very happy with the factory fogs. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go aftermarket or factory. Well I got to use these right away in the rain last night. They really suprised me. Much brighter than I expected.

i pulled off the covers, and theres nothing that i saw behind them..
