Anyone have an electric setup? I am thinking about getting one.

I have been thinking about going all electric so that I can flip it on at any time to keep the temp down. There are times when I'll be at idle on the trail in the summer and the temp rises.

I have also been thinking about a fan powered cowl inducted hood. instead of using it to force air into the engine, use to to draw hot air out of the engine bay. The intake temp can get really high during the summer when idling on the trail.

You'll get a very slight bump in HP by ditching the clutch fan, but I wonder if it's worth in terms of what kind of electrical draw down you get from the elec fans.

:clown: I used to go to ECKLERS in Florida(for my Corvettes) for a Thermo/fan kit, that replaced the (in-block) thermoswitch that triggered the electric fans--

--It lowered, their factory temp. set. of 218 degrees to 190 degrees--

--I don't know, but Ill bet that NISMO has a kit, for the VQ40--checkitout--
