Just installed one of these on my rig today.
Install went well, but breaking one of my CAT studs added at least a couple of hours to the project.
Should have got the acetylene torch out to heat up all the nuts to break them free.
Instead I used a propane torch, and didn’t get them hot enough to break them free.
Probably would have helped to do penetrant on them for a couple of weeks prior.
Nobody local had m10x1 studs. Only m10x1.5. After about 10 attempts at welding 7/16” nuts to the studs (which usually works great) I finally drilled a 3/16” hole thru the middle of the stud. Welded another nut on, and it came out.
Re-threaded the cat to m10x1.5 and installed the new stud.
Everything else went well.
Cut the original exhaust tip off as it was too low and long for Moab ledges, and put a turn-down tip on it.
So far, doesn’t seem to loud, but I haven’t been over 55 yet.
Will know for sure on my way to GONEmoab next weekend.
