I replaced the positive battery terminal today and car has power but does not crank when I turn the key. I even had another car jump me to make sure it wasn't the battery. I suspect the key needs to be reprogrammed but wanted to post to see if it may be something else before before towing to the dealership.

Indications:
  • All dash lights (except security indicator) come on when key is turned to the on position
  • All dash lights (including constant security indicator) come on with spare key turned to the on position

Thanks for the help!

I'm betting you didn't replace the terminal correctly. There is a lot of stuff going on in there. Easy enough to have power to some things but not others. All the wires have to be connected correctly.
